Outlines week-long serie activities The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA) has announced plans to mark its 31st anniversary celebration with a week-long series of events highlighting excellence, friendship, and community impact. The celebration, themed “Celebrating the 31st Anniversary of Excellence, Friendship and Impact: Sustaining the Legacy,” will run from Monday, November 17 to Saturday, November 22, 2025. According to a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the Alumni Association, Adekunle Sikiru, the program lineup features a blend of intellectual, cultural, and social activities aimed at fostering unity and giving back to the institution and community. The anniversary kicks off on Monday, November 17 with the arrival of participants, dignitaries, and invited guests. On Tuesday, November 18, the association will hold a press conference at the Alumni Secretariat in Iree, followed by courtesy visits to traditional rulers within Boripe and Ifelodun Local Government Areas. The highlight of Wednesday, November 19 will be the anniversary lecture to be delivered by Professor Akinbode James Olalekan of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State. The day’s activities will conclude with a football match at the OSPOLY Iree campus by 3:00 p.m. On Thursday, November 20, members of the OSPOLY Iree Alumni Association will pay a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, to discuss ways the alumni can further contribute to the development of the institution and the state at large. The association said the 31st anniversary will not only celebrate the legacy of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree but also strengthen the bond among graduates and reaffirm their commitment to community development and excellence.
